In addition to numerous acclaimed and GRAMMY-nominated solo records, Case is a founding member of Canadian supergroup The New Pornographers. Neko Case always brings a great band and always sends chills through me multiple times during her shows. Like Neil Young earlier this summer, the concert was refreshingly absent of the usual bells and whistles--no screens, simple lighting, focused entirely on the music. She's funny, always in the moment, and fully present. Highly recommend!

  • Neko in Medford, Mass.

by Johnny Lee on 10/8/24Chevalier Theatre - MedfordRating: 3 out of 5

I really wanted to like the show. The band was exceptional. Neko's voice has great tone. However, her delivery of songs often was difficult. I found understanding her lyrics was a struggle. Finally. A live music event is about the performance. She didn't seem to enjoy being there. And the obsession with cell phones is odd. I know no one wants to look at 30 phones making poor quality video, but ....

  • Neko Case was great!

    by Michael G on 10/5/24State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

The warm up Imaad Wasif was interesting. The guys at the mixing board had the volume levels way too high for Imaad, and also for the main act. I have been to this venue many times - it has a great sound system and can be mixed with great level control when desired. Neko and her band were excellent.

  • Sound needs improvement

by darkdorothy on 10/5/24State Theatre - PortlandRating: 3 out of 5

First, Neko Case was fantastic. The issues I have are with the sound. In the past shows at The State Theatre were way too loud. Volume was good this time but the overall sound just wasn’t that great.

  • Amazing singer. Too many shooshers. No dance space.

by Jen on 4/8/24Liberty Hall - LawrenceRating: 4 out of 5

I’ve been a longtime fan of Neko Case but I guess I haven’t seen her play live since the crowd was a little more fun and a little less (or not at all) “shooshy”. She and her band were amazing. The sound was great too. Crowd took themselves a little too seriously. Liberty Hall probably packed too many people in there as well. Couldn’t dance if ya wanted to!

  • Neko at liberty hall

    by Louwho63 on 4/8/24Liberty Hall - LawrenceRating: 4 out of 5

Of course Neko was amazing. I've always love Liberty Hall as a venue but this show was seemed oversold. Crowding problem really limited enjoyment of the music.

  • Good music; strange crowd & venue

by LD on 3/17/24The ELM - BozemanRating: 3 out of 5

Hey friends, loved seeing Neko live and the music was great. But crowd was so boring and venue so staid. Felt like a church, with lots of preachy volunteers. Definitely not a cool rock concert vibe.

  • Awesome! Glad I went! Want 2 C more of! Thx, Ticketmaster!

A red haired woman singing her heart out. Brutally honest talented, creative, smart, funny, humble, original, well liked, confident, special and strong and beautiful. Wonderful show!!!

  • Love/Hate

    by KRIS10 on 6/30/23Rating: 4 out of 5

I loved Neko Case but continue to hate Ace of Spades. This was not a sold-out show yet the SRO was way too packed with no place go.

  • Awesome Experience

by TFB on 6/27/23Ace of Spades - SacramentoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was absolutely perfect. The sound was on point and the crowd enthusiastic. Not a bad seat in the house. Neko Case put on a soul filled show. So thankful I could go.
