Join Ray LaMontagne on the Trouble 20th Anniversary Tour.
Ray's vast catalog spans nine full length records, chart topping radio singles, and a Grammy win, in addition to multiple Grammy nominations. This year will prove to be an exciting one for LaMontagne as he heads out on the road celebrating his first full length album, Trouble, playing the album in its entirety as well as songs from across his catalog.
Of this landmark anniversary, LaMontagne has written the following personal note to his fans:
As many of you know, last September was the 20th anniversary of the release of Trouble. Twenty years. Two Decades. That's a lot of water under the bridge. Every cell in my body has changed three times over in that time. I have been three times reborn.
There are moments in your life when you need to place a marker. Some people think that it is brave, or fearless, to never look back. I don't believe that. For the simple reason that if you never look back you will never see how far you have come. This year I place a sign post: twenty years of Trouble.
When Trouble was initially released Vinyl was considered a dead format, never to breathe again Digital audio was the new King. As we know this has proved untrue. Each year more and more music lovers are listening to Vinyl and appreciating it for its depth and breadth of sound, for its physical heft, for its tangible realness. Over the past few months Brian Lee and Bob Jackson at Waygate Mastering have remastered the album for the first time specifically for Vinyl. And I have to say, it sounds incredible. They have managed to bring out subtleties in the vocals, the instrumentation, that were somehow lost previously. It sounds as if a sonic veil has been lifted. I cannot thank them enough.
To further honor this moment I will be hitting the road later this summer for the Trouble 20th Anniversary Tour, playing the album top to tail for the first time since it was released. I hope you will come out and join me and my friends and help us celebrate this moment in time. It wouldn't be the same without you.

Such a Simple Thing is my favorite song . He was wonderful in concert.
First time at Chastain Park. First time seeing Gregory Alan Isakov. Not the first time seeing Ray LaMontagne. Great venue. Great performances. Ray apologized for being under the weather but he powered through. Great performance! As always!
Ray had/was losing his voice at the outset. Was obvious he was struggling but he pushed through it. By the end, his voice was toast. Saw he posted an apology on FB, to which i say “apology rejected” as unnecessary. Other than singing thru it (others may not have) there was nothing he could do but cancel and rest his voice. Rest and heal, then carry on! See u next time u r in Atlanta!
Chastain is a special place BUT several people come to see the headliner and feel free to chat during the opening talent, very frustrating. That’s not on Ray and to his credit he performed with a sore throat, but the song selection was blah. He’s not a big talker so understand very little interaction. That said Gregory Alan Isakov stole the show.
We look forward to attending many events at the Cadence Bank Amphitheater. Clean, courteous, and well organized! Unfortunately we arrived 30 minutes before the start time and waited almost 4 hours to hear a single songs we knew. If the headliner is not going to start for 2 hours and 45 minutes after the start time they should at least get people excited by starting with a song along. Instead he played 6 or 7 other songs and not even a best of until we were fed up and walking out. Live Nation should also tell there’s 3 bands playing and what time so we can be informed and joy our time. I’d already booked another another Live Nation show for this Friday, so I reached out to TM and they told me there’s 3 bands and who they are but won’t give any start times for each. Claim they don’t have that…hope I'm not again disappointed.
We were really disappointed with the show. Ray Lamontagne played for about an hour & 20 minutes and played mostly lesser known and new songs. That is fine, but fans still want to hear your "bigger"songs, as well. He did say he was losing his voice, so having to show some grace for a show that was pretty low energy. With that said, Gregory Allen Isakov was absolutely AMAZING and put on a phenomenal show!
Had an absolute blast. Erin Rae is always a solid opener, and Gregory blew the roof off the place. Full-body chills with almost ever song. I left after Gregory left the stage since Ray isn't especially my cup of tea, and I'm too old to be up late. But even with an early departure, the concert was still one of the highlights of my year so far.
Ray LaMontagne delivered a captivating performance at Charlottesville's Ting Pavilion, blending new tracks with beloved classics. Supported by an exceptional band, his soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics resonated deeply, showcasing his talents even more brilliantly live. This must-see concert left the audience inspired and eager for more, solidifying LaMontagne's reputation as a standout artist in the music scene.
Seeing Ray is a bucket list show for both me and my wife. We drove up from Charleston SC to Charlotte NC for the show. Paid $45 to park only to be greeted by two guys holding signs letting us know Ray would not be performing. They said the openers were still going to perform, but we were there specifically for Ray. His music is so beautiful and we were so excited, and then crushed.
