i absolutely adore julien baker. i saw her once before at a festival and once with boygenius, and now with torres on their send a prayer my way tour. she absolutely is one of the most talented guitarists of the 21st century, and the fact that she can sing to makes her shows an incredible experience.
Julien always puts on an amazing performance and her fans are very kind.
Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender… She put on a really great show. Amazing energy.
The venue is really nice. I especially like the "Patio". Julien was great. Julien's band was great!! The employees and customers were all very nice. I look forward to seeing more bands at the Bellwether.
Terrific show. Intimate venue and enthusiastic crowd made for a fantastic atmosphere. Julien and her band put theirs hearts into the show. Her opening performance of Appointments was a gut punch.
All of the artist were amazing! The venue was horrible, didn’t turn the air conditioning on and it was 800 degrees. Artist kept having to retune their guitars. Floor was wet from people dripping sweat.
i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you. i love you.
Saw her in Prague in a venue so tiny you could hear the guitar strings themselves and not just the sound from the amp. Julien is truly top shelf material. With her killer songwriting skills and sense of melody, I don’t understand why she isn’t more famous. She did seem to have something going through her head, and whatever energy she was getting from that she channeled into one intense performance. She puts studio recording level effort into every song, which is what we all dream for when we go to see bands live.
julien is an amazing performer, as is her entire little oblivions tour band and crew. the show was so authentic and fun. you really forget that she is super tiny because of the amazing energy she gives off during her shows. the light were a nice additional touch, and the show's opening acts were also great. the concert did begin pretty late compared to others i've attended (10pm), but that wasn't a huge issue for me personally since i was going somewhere pretty close to the venue afterwards. overall i'd say it was definitely a top two for me and i really hope she goes on another US tour soon!
