  • What a wonderful experience!

by Cedarbend on 2/6/24Rating: 5 out of 5

We traveled from extreme northern MN to Salt Lake City, UTto attend the August 21, 2023 concert at the Red Butte Gardens amphitheater. It was a perfect night. Met the nicest people waiting in line, sat with the sun setting over the city and listened to our favorite musicians sing and play perfectly! Memories we'll never forget. I'd go again in a heartbeat.

  • My favorite concert of all time

Glen and Marketa together again.! I could not miss this show. It was absolutely wonderful. It felt like it was coming straight from their hearts. Musicianship and vocals were fantastic and everyone that attended was completely focused. It was such a tremendous moment. My favorite concert of all time.

  • Fabulous

by Fred H on 9/5/23Orpheum Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I was so excited to attend this show. Glen & Marketa did not disappoint. I loved it all - their duets, individual performances and the guests (eg. Chad Smith) at the end. I had forgotten just how beautiful Marketa's voice is, and it has only grown stronger over time. Loved opening act Erik as well.

  • Best Concert in Awesome Venue

by Bob on 8/31/23Rating: 5 out of 5

This was our first time seeing a show at the Orpheum and the Swell Season was amazing. We have seen them before and they never let the audience down. It was also great to see a show in Los Angeles as they brought out special guests. Olivia Vedder voice was incredible.

  • See them if you can!

Glen always puts on an amazing performance and having Marketa there as well just took things to a whole new level. Amazing show!!

  • A Must See

by Molly on 8/31/23Rating: 5 out of 5

This was an absolutely fantastic concert! Glen and Marketa are excellent. Beautiful back by violin and Cello. This is pure musical talent. I hope they tour again here on the west coast. Most enjoyable concert of the year by far. The opener Eric Harper was excellent! Please come back soon

  • Epic!!

A great night filled with beautiful music, storytelling and surprise guests. Glen is a soulful musician and human. The two of them together are pure poetry. Thank you for a memorable evening.

  • 100% Satisfied

by carrielouhoo on 8/31/23Rating: 5 out of 5

This was my third time seeing Glen Hansard but the first time seeing him with Marketa. Wow Wow Wow. This show was head to toe fantastic - the passion, the tenderness, the sweetness of how they interacted. Marketa's voice has matured into a rich, angelic tone. I also loved watching the cello & fiddle players wordlessly interact. So fun. The Orpheum is a great place to see this kind of show - so intimate. And LA fans are SO appreciative! 5 stars all the way around.

  • Downright amazing show!

by Tirage on 8/30/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The last show of (potentially) the last tour of a duo who lit a spark that touched millions (and won them an Oscar, but that's beside the point). You could think they might phone (Zoom?) it in, just go through the motions. Not. A. Chance. Every song a heartfelt masterpiece, excellent musicianship, simple but effective lighting, superb sound quality. Dang. Marketa's voice has grown and matured since her 2007 debut in the movie Once. Glen's is stronger than ever and he held nothing back. How he manages nearly three hours of it, with his growls and his falsettos, I'll never know. And then Marketa answered back with her own powerhouse performance! Oh, and then Glen played a couple AC/DC deep cuts with his guitar roadie and Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers on drums! Crazy good.

  • Orpheum issues

by GabyO on 8/30/23Rating: 3 out of 5

The performers were amazing, but I had some issues with the theater. I was sitting on the right side of the balcony and there was a repetitive squeaking noise that would start up intermittently throughout the performance which I found very distracting. It sounded something like a door swinging back and forth on a squeaky hinge, but I could not identify where it was coming from. It was also too warm in the balcony, which also made it smell rather bad.
