  • 2025 theme best yet!

by CJ on 5/6/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Werq the World started in Europe this year and I happened to be in London for the show. The theme this year was a music award show with the queens emulating some of the most iconic pop performances of all time. Britney, Gaga, Mariah, you name it. It was spectacular and so fun! Can’t wait to see it again this summer in the US!

I’m such a fan of the show that I was beyond excited to go see RPDR in Maryland. Total waste of time and money. Maybe the Las Vegas shows are better, but this was awful. Best part was Shanel being the host. Otherwise the queens seemed unprepared, like this whole production was held together with bubble gum and paperclips. Gottmik was dreadful, Jorgeous was sick and we watched some reruns of the show on big screen. All together terrible event. We left at intermission, at least we beat traffic.

I love coming to this show every year and this one was really fun, I liked how the queens were all in it through out instead of doing 1 number and then not being seen again till the end. Other than that this show is deathly loud. The promoters have GOT to get a new sound system or sound team because compared to other show's ive seen at the same theater, this show is HORRIFICALLY loud. Also I do the meet and greet every year because usually it is a great deal. This year was the worst one as staff was screaming at people for cameras and it was super rushed. Naomi Smalls, Daya Betty and Kandy Muse were the only queens at the meet and greet who seemed to care to be there and try talk to fans as the staff shoves you through like cows.... the others not so much. I don't know if I will return again due to the poor production team plus you never know who will be in the show until the meet and greet / it literally starts.

  • These tours are becoming less interesting

by jorge on 9/2/23Rating: 2 out of 5

Radio City NYC 8-25-23. I saw Werk the World Tour in NYC in 2022 and I gave it 5 Stars (Aquaria and the Rockettes were memorable). I also saw RuPaul's Drag Race Night of the Living Drag Kings Theatre 2022, which I also considered as a great show (Bosco as lust was superb) . Now 2nd year in Radio City Music Hal: not a single winner, again Asia O'Hara presenting (can't they have another presenter???)... and... there was a significant dropped in the talent level. I gave 1 star for Lady Camden the best in show, the other star is for guests stars which included Kevin Aviance and Amanda Lepore and the dancers. Rosé and Daya Betty were OK (I could have add a 1/2 star) and the rest of the queens ... take it or leave it. When I go to see a show, the name of the performers are listed, why can't get an announcement of who will perform??? The audience deserve it! Second round in Radio City Music Hall in NYC and the show is losing quality !!!

  • Amazing Experience, Start to Grand Finish!

    by Summer M. on 8/30/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Have been excited about this show for months the these Queens did NOT disappoint!! It was high-energy throughout, with amazing costumes and back-up dancers. The diva-vibe was contagious and a look around made clear that everyone was dancing in their seats. Definitely a not-to-be-missed experience for any/everyone who values the ART that is DRAG!!
