Some positives, notable negatives
by R A J on 10/3/23Excalibur Hotel and Casino - Las VegasRating: 1 out of 5First the positives. The show itself was very good. Not great, but certainly met expectations.
The TL;DR version: Bring ear plugs and don't expect a good meal experience
The positives were overshadowed by several issues. There were completely random, extremely loud pyrotechnics/fireworks.
The show was always an ear-damaging 90 decibels -- or louder.
The food was acceptable, and they tried to serve us before the show started, but it all felt quite rushed (we attended the 6p show). And if you tried to focus on eating, you missed the show. If you watched the show, you would've likely been rushed to gobble down the food as they came swiftly with the dessert.
We have two kids (8 & 10). I felt like I was tending to them more than watching the show, and I suspect the majority of parents would be too.
I put one star to hopefully get the attention of the staff, because I think these issues could be corrected. That said, this show has been running for decades so I doubt this single review will affect any change whatsoever.
