If you're a fan of classic soul music, you know all of them by heart. Over the course of their 50-plus-year career, the Temptations released four Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles and 14 R&B No. 1 singles. Their music has earned three Grammys, including the first for Motown for 1969's "Cloud Nine," and in 2013 they received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. The founding members — Otis Williams, Melvin Franklin, Eddie Kendricks, Paul Williams and David Ruffin — were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. "My Girl," "Just My Imagination (Running Away with Me)" and "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone" are among the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll. Today, the Temptations Revue carries on the tradition started almost 60 years ago, performing concerts to sold-out crowds across the United States. The Temptations Revue is led by Nate Evans, the singer who was brought into the group decades ago by its founding members. Evans brings a cast of veteran vocalists to re-create the Temptations' definitive five-part harmonies, and they're accompanied by an eight-piece band that provides proper live musical backing. From the dapper suits to the gentlemanly dance moves to note-perfect renditions of all those songs you know by heart, the Temptations Revue is the full Temptations experience, delivered here and now.
My Mom and I went to celebrate her birthday. It was so much fun. The band was so talented and the dance moves were on point. They also did great with involving the audience. It was a wonderful experience.
We loved seeing the Four Tops and Temptations. The Ovens Auditorium is a great setting abd convenient for many seniors to get in and out with ease.

It was like stepping back into the 60’s when I was a kid and would hear them on my little hand held transistor radio 😁
We came to this concert not really knowing what to expect. Sometimes, these older groups have a different sound that is noticeable and diminishes the experience. Other times the sound is original, even if the performers are not. This was definitely a good sound. Also, the group had two really neat features during the show. They had a sit down, almost-lecture, session with the audience. What was really special was how they brought three people out of the audience and had them sing a verse of "My Girl."As I already said, it was a very fun evening.
From the beginning to the end the entertaining group had the audience going from singing songs to dancing off our feet. It was an amazing concert. Nothing like enjoying yourself with Motown classic music in the Plaza Theatre Bring more to El Paso, Texas. Loved the Temptations Concert!!
I enjoyed the great songs and the choreography was classic. I loved that they brought in local musicians for the horn section. I was surprised at the size and mix of the crowd. The Temptations appeal to people of all ages and backgrounds. Everyone had a great time!
