  • Too costly. I’m out.

by George on 6/6/25The Ballpark at America First Square - South JordanRating: 2 out of 5

Ticket prices are higher than they were at Smith’s field. Tickets + parking have priced me out, therefore I’ll be attending fewer games.

  • High prices

by Anonymous on 5/30/25The Ballpark at America First Square - South JordanRating: 3 out of 5

The tickets, food and drink were priced like i was at an MLB game. Nice new stadium but the old one was better.

  • Great

by Dick on 5/27/25The Ballpark at America First Square - South JordanRating: 5 out of 5

Great, except I miss the Smiths 4 seats for $30 nite and the old Derks view was unbeatable

  • No Veterans Discount Offered

by Roy on 5/27/25The Ballpark at America First Square - South JordanRating: 2 out of 5

Great game, but. When I got there I found out that tickets were offered with a veterans discount. There was no discount offer that I seen on Ticketmaster for Veterans.

  • Beautiful Stadium

by Mrs. Little on 5/26/25Rating: 4 out of 5

There is a lot of complaints about the food and the one section on the 3rd base line having a wall blocking the view of the outfield. Also, the grass seating being small and expense of tickets. Sign up for alerts. I've gotten seats for $7. Bring in drinks and food to save. They allow backpacks. Plenty of free parking on the streets surrounding the field.

  • The worst sightings in MILB?

by BS on 5/14/25The Ballpark at America First Square - South JordanRating: 2 out of 5

Bought a ticket in 120. Couldn't see half the outfield. Not sure who decided building a giant cement wall in front of the seats was a good idea. People should at least be warned of the view obstruction before buying.

  • Got some work to do (high $, low quality)

by Casual_Baseball_Fan on 5/14/25The Ballpark at America First Square - South JordanRating: 2 out of 5

It was adequate, the wind was absolutely brutal. It was unnecessarily expensive, especially compared to the old stadium (ticket prices especially, food was similar in price but lower quality). Concessions definitely not priced for bringing the whole family (though some shops seemed to recognize this and were starting to offer deals). Food truck was solid, concessions (e.g. burger) was low quality and didn't have a pricing option for a kid wanting a plain burger. Would be nice not to order the price of the bacon burger, when kiddo wants no bacon. Odd that something so obvious wasn't accounted for... the whole day sort of felt like that. Double A experience, World Series pricing.

  • Love the New Park, not so much the food.

by Tina B on 5/12/25The Ballpark at America First Square - South JordanRating: 3 out of 5

This was our first time to the new ball park. We chose to ride Frontrunner and Trax. (It was perfect for the ride there but terrible for the ride home because Frontrunner only picks up every hour. We waited at the Murray station for 50 minutes to get back to Davis County.) While the square is not quite open, it’s going to be beautiful and I look forward to possibly some live music and festive atmosphere. Loved the entry in centerfield. Park was clean. We arrived about 20-30 minutes early so we could eat and be ready for the first pitch. I liked the food options and you can tell they were going for convenience, however, no fountain drinks. (Only a partial disappointment) we had a burger and hot dog and fries. While we expect to pay more at the ballpark, the burger seemed like a “vending machine” burger but craft burger price. Hot dog and fries were both good. The most annoying thing was the condiment dispensers were either empty or broken and the game had not even started! That makes me crazy. I know typically those dispensers are provided by the company that sells them the condiments. Either get a different vendor or make sure the dispensers work. Clearly this struck a nerve but everything else was just so new and nice. I am not sure I think the food was an upgrade. I’ll go again and if the experience is better, I’ll review it better. I hate going that much further to see baseball but it is a beautiful park. And I LOVED the old park. I think the smaller piece of lawn seating is potentially a problem. The tickets were quite a bit more (almost double) for similar seats in the old park, so I think many people will prefer lawn seating with larger families and there is only a smaller space for that. Time will tell on that. Also, the new seats were cushioned! I loved them. Very comfortable. I love big energetic crowd and there was not much of that. It could be the whole move is just still new. I look forward to see how it all keeps developing. All in all, I still love going to a baseball game.

  • Mickeycorey

by Mickeycorey on 5/11/25The Ballpark at America First Square - South JordanRating: 2 out of 5

The game was good but the fries that we got from the self serve area were cold and seemed like they had been there for at least a day. They also ran out of helmets for ice cream

  • Fun but too pricey for what it is.

by Dad on 4/30/25The Ballpark at America First Square - South JordanRating: 3 out of 5

Mixed bag, the game was fine, the facilities improved and immaculate. 80+ dollars for 2 AAA baseball tickets 45$ for 1 burger 1 piece of pizza 2 waters and popcorn plus 15$ for parking has priced me out of Americas past time. Free mini golf and free corn hole is nice touch.
