El-P and Killer Mike, two of the most distinctive and celebrated names in rap, might have seemed like an unlikely pairing on paper, but the duo subverted and pulverized all expectations with their critically lauded Run The Jewels collaborative LP. Tapping into the creative synergy they'd discovered in 2012 on Mike's R.A.P. Music album (produced by El-P) and El's Cancer 4 Cure album (featuring Mike), Run The Jewels cemented their musical alliance with a set of uncompromisingly raw, forward thinking hip-hop, garnering limitless critical accolades including the likes of Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, XXL, SPIN, New York Times, and many more.
Run The Jewels put on an incredible show and the YS Firehouse was an intimate, 5 star experience.
they were really silly i saw them and heard them for the first time at louder than life they put on a funny show
This was my first time seeing Run The Jewels on tour. And DAMN! Do they put on a SHOW!! The energy, lighting, not to mention the special guests…. Words cannot describe my experience at this show. 10/10 would recommend seeing these legends live in concert!!
Killer Mike and El-P threw an awesome event to celebrate the 10 years of RTJ. I went to all four shows and the experience was amazing, I go to a ton of shows but I have never been able to say I have seen every song played in an entire catalog, so cool! There were special guests and the energy was amazing. If you haven't seen RTJ yet, put it on the list and don't sleep on it!
Palladium is too loud but run the jewels killed it!
Run the Jewels was such an epic show. Sound and lighting was on point venue was open and well ventilated
The best......................... ..................
So much energy from two almost 50 year olds that cap out rap most new rappers. They always put on an amazing show. And shout out to Zach
Loved DJ Shadow! RTJ is amazing and I don't know how they keep up that level of energy! My wife was just a passing fan, but she said after the show that she loved every minute of it and it was probably the best concert she has ever seen!
El-P and Killer Mike were amazing. I only wish the DJ introducing them had a shorter set. He was fine, it just went on too long. Already can't wait for RTJ's next tour!
