Penn & Teller On Tour
Not exactly comedians but more than just magicians, Penn & Teller bring a quirky combination of laughs and illusions to every performance. You're ready to laugh before they even trot out their tricks, with the big, brash Penn Jillette towering over his staid, unspeaking partner Teller. And once they dip into the bag of tricks they've been perfecting since the 1970s, you're simultaneously dazzled and delighted. Whether they're working with things like magic bullets, nail guns, and straitjackets, or just employing a seemingly ordinary deck of cards to demonstrate some sleight of hand, the duo can make you doubt your own senses as they appear to make the impossible happen right before your eyes. Sometimes they toss a touch of danger into the mix, and sometimes they simply play the whole thing for laughs, but whatever illusion they're unveiling, Penn & Teller can always pull it off.
Penn & Teller Background
America's most famous magic/comedy duo actually started out as a trio in the '70s, but when third member Weir Chrisemer left in 1981, Penn Jillette and Raymond Teller (who has always gone by just his surname) continued on together, and it was then that their star began to rise. With TV appearances on such shows as Late Night With David Letterman and Saturday Night Live, a series of Broadway shows, and their own Emmy-winning special on PBS, Penn & Teller carved out a niche in show business and became household names in the process. In the years that followed, they became TV personalities in their own right, first with a Showtime series and then with Fool Us on the CW. They've earned their own star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. They've appeared in music videos by Run-DMC and Katy Perry. They've established a record-breaking residency in Las Vegas. And throughout all of these accomplishments, Penn & Teller have shown that a big, loud guy and a small, silent guy can make people gasp and guffaw at the same time.

High expectations from decades long performances. Came away without feeling we got our money's worth. Sound system was either not used or is substandard. Seemed like they wanted to prove they don't use audience plants. I would simply like to have seen and heard more exciting skits from such a high profile act. It was entertaining at times, but missed my high expectations.
This was our second time seeing the show. We really have enjoyed it both times
Was a fantastic experience seeing this show for the first time. Would had been fun to be on stage, but maybe next time. Would love if ticketmaster had a better way of purchasing tickets for ADA. Other than this the show must keep going on.
What an incredible show! Penn and Tellers stage presence was fantastic. They kept us all engaged from beginning to end, and included the audience in their tricks throughout. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed!
I remember watching them years ago, and they had a great show. Not so much right now, you hear Penn talk A LOT, and maybe 3 tricks the whole show. The most impressive one I had already watched on TV (one of their television shows used the same trick. Felt like I didnt get my money's worth...
A fantastic show. A must see for anyone going to Las Vegas!
Penn talked for most of the acts & unfortunately the magic was old & boring. Was not worth the high ticket price
Great experience. Penn and Teller kept us entertained all evening. The venue was perfect for an event like this.
Need more magic and less rambling stories. Not worth the $$
At the start they promised new show and new tricks, but it was an awful lot of the same material, and I got the feeling they were not excited about the show, instead going through the motions. For somebody that has been a fan for many years I was hoping to feel the excitement and jeopardy, that normally comes from a penn and teller performance, but honestly it was easy card tricks, and stuff we’ve seen a ton of times on TV. I hate to say it but feel I have wasted my money.
This was my first time seeing them. Very interactive with audience very personable. Great show ! My husband is a big fan this is why I purchased tickets we were in the third how . The piano player was amazing also !
Penn & Teller are the best. They have been doing this for years and no one has their skill, creativity, and entertainment value. You just have to see it to believe it. I highly recommend their show.
Penn and Teller .. massive disappointment. Spent $345 for three tickets to see P&T at the Rio Las Vegas. Boring tricks seen performed by amateurs many times. Penn spitting over us in the front row whilst shouting his unfunny jokes at the audience. Repeating the stooges story many times it actually became boring. An overbearing pianist drowned out his speech anyway! In a nutshell ….Absolutely no showmanship, a very cheap stage set, unfunny jokes and boring tricks. Don’t waste your money!
Hell of a show really got the audience involved with the entire act. Had a great time
The show was very boring and amateurish. I was expecting a lot more from these world class magicians, as most of the show was low budget, simple tricks with more talking from Penn than actual tricks. Not impressed, much better shows available in Vegas. Don't waste your time and money for a boring performance.
Great show. Time went by so fast. Very enjoyable.
Penn and Teller are amazing . . Simple and respectful . . With the astounding *WOW!! How did that go THAT!!!??* every time. They never fail to deliver an incredible performance. Family friendly, such a brilliant professional pair. Highly recommended.

We were amazed and delighted by the performance. It was funny and creative. You can tell how much they enjoy performing for a live audience.
