  • Ehhh

I feel like I was click baited into buying tickets because I thought this was the MasterChef junior finale when I bought the tickets. I was excited to see gerron and su but it's not what I paid for. I paid to see the finale of MasterChef junior not MasterChef live. Mikey was annoying and Malia talked really slow it made my ears hurt.

  • Average

The theater was beautiful and clean as always. Everyone the worked that night was very helpful. The show itself was just average. The “acting” was a little over the top and we were hoping to see some more audience participation- like choosing people from the audience to try the food or picking people to be the sous chef. To be fair we only stayed for half the show. Maybe it got better?

  • It was ridiculously fake and staged. I will never recommend

by MAD on 11/22/21Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 1 out of 5

Ha, are you kidding me. It was all transcripted and fake. Such a wastage of my money. I wish i could ask for refund. I had to leave the show early because of its ridiculousness.

  • Kid friendly

by AJ on 11/22/21Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 2 out of 5

This event wasn’t at all what I expected. This was meant more for kids than adults. I would have liked to watch the master chef contestants compete or even just have the cameras at their stations for us to watch the cooking process. Instead it was more of the host and contestants entertaining children through the show and you barley see their cooking skills. I also felt like I was watching the show host and the screen where they had recordings of the show and other contestants rather than a live show. I wouldn’t go back unless it was to take kids.

  • It was ok

by Tami on 11/22/21Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 3 out of 5

The Chef's were entertaining. Mikey was obviously a town favorite. The food they prepared was fun to see and the interaction between the chefs was great. The host was good, but we felt a little to dramatic for this kind of event. The theatre was beautiful and the ushers were amazing. Our seats were great. However, allowing people to come into a theatre in the front several rows 30 minutes late is disappointing since the show was not sold out. These people could have sat in the back rows until intermission.

  • Snooze fest

by Jacqstocks on 11/22/21Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 2 out of 5

Very drawn out. Profoundly scripted. Very boring. Teenagers and adults were over it within the first half hour

  • More For Families

by Madam Scabby Ninja on 11/22/21Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 3 out of 5

It was just my husband and I and although it was fun and enjoyable, it wasn’t really for just a couple. More for families with children.

  • Scripted

by Lori on 11/22/21DeVos Performance Hall - Grand RapidsRating: 3 out of 5

We were disappointed. The whole show was very Scripted. The merchandise that was sold was from 2020 show. They only had Children aprons. I expected more with MasterCheif....
