  • Never get tired of seeing JM

I have seen John Mulaney multiple times and he fails to disappoint. I already saw him perform this material in another venue but I can’t get enough of him. I can’t wait until his next tour!

  • Huge Mulaney fan but....

I must say I was a little disappointed with the Norfolk show, although he came out strong (although sound quality was poor). The disappointment was mostly because he spent an inordinate amount of time talking to a mother and daughter in row 1, which of course we only could hear one side of the conversation. It occurred to me after a few minutes that perhaps he lost his material and was stalling / trying to get it back. Getting back on track with the convo over, there was some material that I felt he spent too long on (plus it just didn't resonate with me...which is fine / can't expect to all to land....although Kid Gorgeous did!). Discussing it with my date, I wondered if Johnny was just trying stuff out...prepping for a new tour. Anyway, still love him, rooting for him and looking forward to a strong rebound. Hope we are still best buds. 3.75 Stars. Thanks

This is the third time we’ve seen JM and this was by far his best. New material, so many laughs you can miss the next line! Throughly enjoyed the show

  • Fun Night

John did not disappoint. I am 75 years old and I found his take on his “ elderly” parents hysterically true!

I had purchased tickets to take my daughter because she is a very big fan of John Mulaney. I have watched him with her on YouTube videos, but to see him in person was something else I truly enjoyed it. The audience was great. The opening act was great. We had a wonderful time. I love the fact that he was interacting with his audience. I kind of felt bad because there were some empty seats, but being I’m short, it was actually beneficial to me. I could see the stage. His timing was perfect. His movement was great. There was no lull, where you were like OK well what comes next he kept it pretty much up to beat. I feel it was definitely well worth the money that I invested in The tickets I would do it again!

He was so funny the show was awesome and the venue was easy to navigate.

No issues about the event space but John Mulaney was a super big disappointment. What I would have expected from a local comic at a suburban comedy night. I get he needs to try out new material but I think he's forgotten what it feels like for regular people to pay what for us is a lot of money to hear him. Maybe I needed to be reminded that a live set isn't a tightly produced Netflix special.

  • Not a great venue

by Globe Traveler on 10/14/24Borgata Event Center - Atlantic CityRating: 3 out of 5

Not a great Venue Seating is Flat and chairs are not staggered between rows so the view of the stage is obstructed by the Heads of the people in front of you. Pretty much watched the jumbo screen which I could have done at home. John put on a great Show though.
