About

Coldplay are a rock band from London, England that have sold over 100 million albums worldwide and won seven Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year for 2002’s “Clocks” and Song of the Year for 2008’s “Viva La Vida.” Led by frontman and pianist Chris Martin, the band features guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, drummer Will Champion and creative director Phil Harvey. Their debut album, Parachutes, in 2000, contained the breakout single “Yellow.” Further LPs in their discography include A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002), X&Y (2005), Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008), Mylo Xyloto (2011), Ghost Stories (2014), A Head Full of Dreams (2015), Everyday Life (2019) and Music of the Spheres (2021). The latter contained “My Universe,” their smash collaboration with BTS, which turned them into the first British band in history to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Coldplay’s tenth studio album, Moon Music, was released in October 2024, and features “ALL MY LOVE,” “WE PRAY” (with Little Simz, Burna Boy, Elyanna and TINI) and more.

  • Bucket list

    by Pumas#1 on 6/8/25Stanford Stadium - StanfordRating: 5 out of 5

If you have an opportunity to attend a ColdPlay concert, DO IT!! I have been to many concerts over the course of my life time, and believe me ColdPlay has been the BEST I have been to. Not only do they have a tour that is being more sustainable and are reducing their environmental impact by using kinetic energy, solar panels and use waste cooking oil to fuel their concerts, they give a tremendous concert!! I will not spoil it by telling you more, but believe me they are well worth it!! If you have a chance to see them in concert, you will be on a natural high for atleast two weeks.

  • Worth it

by BigKat on 6/8/25Rating: 5 out of 5

This concert was everything that you wish it was. The venue of allegiant stadium was easy to navigate and very organized for an event of this size. The energy in the room was great the crowd was awesome. If there was any complaint I would have it was the timing. The ticket said that the concert starts at 6 but the first opening act didnt take stage until 715 sang for like 25 mins. Same with the next. Coldplay didnt actually take the stage until around 9pm so if you're freaking out about making it on time don't worry you don't have to be there until about 845 if opening acts aren't your thing.

  • ### Connecting People! ###

by PaloAlto on 6/8/25Stanford Stadium - StanfordRating: 5 out of 5

As one of the few bands Coldplay is able to connect with the audience during their concerts. Through the voice of Chris Martin, but that's not possible without the rest of the great band. What a performance it was (again) at the beautiful stadium of Stanford University! The true form of connecting people.

  • Incredible!!

by Dr Lisa on 6/8/25Stanford Stadium - StanfordRating: 5 out of 5

Exceeded expectations. First concert to be held at Stanford Stadium and Chris Martin did not disappoint. It was one giant sing-a-long.

  • Amazing Experience!

by Nick on 6/7/25Stanford Stadium - StanfordRating: 5 out of 5

It was a very cool concert with Chris getting the crowd involved often. I enjoyed the giant inflatable balls during a few of the songs and loved the light up wristbands and star lenses for the fireworks and lights.

  • Amazing - Best Concert I have ever been to!

by ConcertGoer on 6/7/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Wow! Coldplay was absolutely AMAZING. I attended the show in Stanford, CA. This is hands down the best concert I have ever been to. It was electrifying, exhilarating and magical. They played all their hits. The production, lights, wristbands, fireworks, confetti was incredible. There were also other touches during the show that made it spectacular. I couldn't stop smiling, happiest I've been in a long time. And the thing with Chris Martin & Coldplay in general is that they are very engaging, very present and genuine. I've been to other concerts this large where I felt disconnected to the performer, like they were just there to put on a "show". But this concert was so different - I felt very connected and drawn in. The Stanford venue was also perfect because it was outdoors, great weather (literally under the stars), in a nice area. It really put that finishing touch on an already perfect experience. It has been almost a week since I saw the show and I am still re-playing videos, trying to relive the experience, and on a high. GO SEE THEM LIVE (this tour especially) - life is too short and the experience & memories are more than worth the money!

  • Fantastic show

by Lori on 6/6/25Stanford Stadium - StanfordRating: 5 out of 5

The show was great. I was only disappointed that a large light platform was blocking our view of the stage. I should have informed of that when I bought the tickets. I would have picked a different seat. Otherwise, I loved it

  • Concert was great; fix the water policy

by Dan on 6/6/25Stanford Stadium - StanfordRating: 4 out of 5

The good news is that the concert overall was great—highly entertaining and visually dazzling. One complaint: I CLEARLY READ that store-bought plastic water bottles were allowed at concerts in Stanford stadium. I dutifully purchased four water bottles for the people in my group. We arrive at security only to be told that we had to drink them immediately and throw them away. That really pissed me off. And it also pissed me off that I sat through a whole concert without water to drink. If you're wondering why fewer and fewer people enjoy public events like concerts and pro sports games, it's stupid rules like that. Stop doing these things to people who shell out big money, like I did, for these events.

  • Mixed

by Birdman on 6/6/25Stanford Stadium - StanfordRating: 3 out of 5

Coldplay was awesome and the crowd was totally in to it, stood the entire concert. Stanford stadium is a nice venue to see a show but logistically a nightmare. Exits, flow of people, parking all were subpar.

  • Coldplay AMAZING, Stanford Venue Unorganized

by Neymar Nazario on 6/6/25Stanford Stadium - StanfordRating: 3 out of 5

To put briefly, Coldplay put an amazing performance. They ARE worth seeing. No doubt about it. However, the venue was riddled with poor organization. We had floor tickets with early access and got re-directed about 5 times on where to go. In other words, we got 5 different answers to go to 5 different directions (gate 12, gate 3, back to gate 12, gate 10, and a tent which was not specific since there were a few tents). It was very frustrating to say the least. I would’ve expected better given that the venue was in Stanford and as a Stanford staff member put it, we were “making history in first-class territory.” Coldplay was first-class. However, the management and coordination was far from it. Coldplay: 10 out of 5 Stanford Venue: 2 out of 5
