Balu Brigada are a groove-pop duo from New Zealand made up of multi-instrumentalist, dual-vocalists and writer/producer brothers, Henry and Pierre Beasley. With a pop sensibility that sits a little left of center, their tracks prioritize prominent bass-hooks and punchy drums with natural quirk and relatability, drawing inspiration from a wide range of influences including indie pop and alt-rock. Key to Balu Brigada's magic is their inimitable brotherly bond, with their joy for - and gentle ribbing of - each other coming through in everything they do. Their musical conversation mirrors their real-life communication as songwriters and co-producers, finishing each other's sentences both in everyday discourse and in song. They released their debut EP 'I Should Be Home' followed by EP 'Find A Way' and recently released single "So Cold", all of which cumulatively received acclaim from Rolling Stone, Coup De Main, People Magazine (Best New Artist), and Ones to Watch

    they played great songs and interacted so much with the crowd i got to fist bump henry and hold pierres hand they even signed my sisters cd case hope they come to california again soon. saw them at rickshaw stop in san francisco!!!

    Excellent group in a small intimate venue, Pierre and Henry stayed afterwards to meet with all of the people that came to watched their concert. It was a great night.!

    They were so fun live. I started to listen to them before the twenty one pilots clancy world tour show. My absolute favorite song that they performed is designer. So so so much fun, and they brought a lot of energy to the show!! I highly suggest checking them out, they have amazing music!! Henry and Pierre were cracking me up with their dancing, they were so energetic!

    I recently discovered Balu Brigada last night at twenty one pilots, they were the openers and my gosh!! They were so good and put on quite a show. Henry and Pierre had everyone’s interest and not a single person was sitting down. It was just phenomenal. They have gained a new fan for sure ❤️ can’t wait to see them again.

    I had never heard of Balu Brigada until they were announced as the opener for twenty one pilots. They are awesome!! Definitely gained a new fan!!

    I recently discovered Balu Brigada through Twenty One Pilot’s Clancy World Tour and was blown away during their first song “Moon Man”. Their stage presence and overall performance was amazing! I instantly fell in love with this band and the cherry on top was getting to meet them after the show! Henry and Pierre showed genuine interest in every conversation with everyone in line to meet them. I’ll definitely be returning to see Balu Brigada as soon as they’re in my area again! 🫶
