Wayne Newton is a singer and entertainer from Norfolk, Virginia. Over the course of his decades-long career, Newton has become synonymous with the glitz and glamor of the Strip, earning the nickname “Mr. Las Vegas.” Getting his start in the 1950s, the then-teen singer was mentored by superstars like Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley and Bobby Darin. Some of his best-known songs include “Danke Schoen,” “Red Roses for a Blue Lady” and “Daddy, Don’t You Walk So Fast.” By 1963, he had become a headliner at the Flamingo in Las Vegas and worked his way to being named the highest-grossing act in Sin City history. Through the 1990s, Newton headlined shows at Caesars Palace, MGM Grand Las Vegas and Bally’s before signing a 10-year contract in 1999 as the first-ever headliner-in-residence at the Stardust Resort and Casino — though the deal was cut short in 2005 as a result of the venue’s demolition. In 2016, Newton performed his lounge show Up Close & Personal at Bally’s, followed by his 2019 stint at Caesars Palace to celebrate his 60th year on stage. In 2024, Newton will embark on his Up Close and Personal Tour.

I saw Wayne Newton 30 years ago and he was a showman at that time! He is a class act entertainer whose talent has not diminished ever. So glad I got to see him again! Great birthday present for my friend!
When we realized Wayne Newton was going to be, basically, in our backyard, we didn’t hesitate to get tickets. I had read about his new show, and knew it was going to be a bit different. No, it is NOT his Vegas act of 20 years ago, but it was every bit as meaningful and entertaining. I was sorry for the evening to end. What a showcase of a stellar performer! I am SO glad we were able to take advantage of this opportunity. Thank you, Mr. Newton.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Wayne Newton perform again and loved hearing about and seeing clips of all his famous friends in the entertainment field. So many personal stories shared about his life and experiences were so interesting! Would highly recommend this show - it was great!

Took my mom for her 70th Birthday. We had an amazing experience! Wayne is so engaging and his "assistant"is lovely. Mom's first time on a plane (or any vacation for that matter) and Wayne singlehandedly made it unforgettable. I don't think I've ever seen my mom so happy. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and beautiful memories we will both cherish always.
Wayne Newton first and foremost a Fenonmal Entertaining Super Star! The moment he steps onto the stage you will feel as if he is in your home telling his lifetime achievements and some tough times. This Man is opening up his life to you giving a full insight of his career. Some say his voice is not the same...for a true Star at 83 years old. His voice is wonderful and he is wonderful! Thank you Wayne Newton for making my evening unforgettable..you are amazing.
At 82 years old and having been a performer for 65 years this man is phenomenal. Of course his voice is not what it used to be, but he can entertain like no one else. The charisma, interesting stories, his entire professional life shown on screen, playing multiple instruments, and his comedic banter make you wish the show would never end. This is why he is still called Mr Las Vegas. Definitely get the meet and greet so you can speak to him after the show and get your picture taken with this incredible talent.
Wayne is a fabulous entertainer. The show is just brilliant and extraordinary value for money. Up close and personal it is.
