Shoreline Mafia In Concert

Each of the four members of L.A. rap collective Shoreline Mafia brings his own style to the table, but together they maintain a steady commitment to the crew that has led to raucous live performances. In their first appearance at the Rolling Loud Festival in 2017, de facto leader OhGeesy was up on the stage barricade, leading the crowd through the group's hit "Musty" as the bass thumped and cell phones were in the air, trying to capture the pivotal moment for the breakout act.

A year later at Rolling Loud, Shoreline Mafia's set felt like nothing short of the heartbeat of the festival. "The energy coming off of the crowd; I don't think I've seen that much energy at a show that I've been to," Shoreline Mafia's Fenix told XXL.

Shoreline brings abrasive, hedonistic trap rap to the table, and they're leading a SoundCloud-born movement while representing L.A. everywhere they play. They toured furiously in 2018, selling out multiple stops in the U.S. and Europe, picking up major steam and piling up a larger fan base with every show. They kept that momentum going by hopping on tour in 2019, and they show no signs of slowing down.

Shoreline Mafia Background

Linking up through L.A. graffiti circles as far back as 2012, Shoreline Mafia have emerged in the mold of SOBxRBE and Brockhampton as the next rap crew you need to know. Members Rob Vicious, OhGeesy, and Fenix are all originally from L.A., while Master Kato hails from Chicago.

Their name refers to the L.A. shoreline, "where the waves begin," and everything about them — from producer RonRon's drop-top drive production, to their syrupy party flows — is L.A. through and through. They dropped the ‘ShorelineDoThatSh*t' mixtape in late 2017 and were quickly signed to Atlantic Records at the start of 2018. The Rob Vicious-focused ‘Traplantic' came out in July of 2018, and lead single "Bands" already has more than 14 million SoundCloud spins.

  • Sada baby was great........ everything else so so

by dominic on 2/4/19Bogart's presented by Cricket Wireless - CincinnatiRating: 3 out of 5

So going into the concert I had expectations to see Sada Baby and Shoreline Mafia. The large number of openers were a little too much. I wish it would have been advertised the amount of openers. As far as shorline it was disappointing that Ohgeesy was not there but the man had a kid so I can not blame him for not showing up. I would have preferred if they would have cancelled the show until another date but again Sada Baby saved the show for me.
