The Pittsburgh Penguins joined the National Hockey League for the 1967-1968 season during the League's expansion from six to 12 teams. The Penguins played at Civic Arena (nicknamed "the Igloo") until the 2009-2010 season, when they moved to PPG Paints Arena (formerly CONSOL Energy Center).
Postseason appearances have been nearly a birthright for the Penguins and their fans since the 1990-1991 season, after which they won five Stanley Cup Championships(Opens in new tab). The Penguins won their last game of the season Thursday night and it was a great experience!! Heinen had a shorthanded goal and about 15/20 seconds later tomasino scored😆😆it was my fifth game that I went to this season and it was the third game they won out of those five.
City, food, fans and event all amazing. Best I’ve experienced!!!!
The game was amazing. Crowd was kept engaged with prize drop, music, and contests. Wrapping things up with the shirt off my back was such a cool experience. Will definitely be back for fan appreciation night.
Great seats Great game.llast minute purchase was totally worth it
5-0 shutout baby that’s what’s up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My family had a great time, go Penns. Almost $200 for 3 second level seats and $53 to park is getting crazy. After food and one drink for 3 people your easily at almost $400. Hockey used to be pretty affordable for great seats. It’s a shame things are this expensive as it’s made it a special event now to go, it’s no longer just a nice way to spend the evening with friends and family for almost anyone.
This game was the ninth game that I’ve been to and it was by far the best! This was the best I’ve seen us play (in person) in a while! It was Phil Kessel bobblehead night and I didn’t think we got there in time but we did and we got the bobbleheads! Also Boko almost got a Gordie Howe hatrick yessir!!
We had a great time, especially with our tickets being up on the glass by the goal. We definitely want to get these seats again!
Great win! Great atmosphere! Great game! Happy St Patrick’s Day! ☘️
