About

Country musician Larry Fleet's style is dripping with soul.

Influenced by Otis Redding, Ray Charles, Etta James, and more, Fleet is aware of the vibe he brings to not only his songwriting but his stage presence.

Born in White Bluff, Tennessee, Fleet was drawn to music from a young age. It was hard not to be, with White Bluff sitting a mere 30 minutes from Nashville and a family full of musicians surrounding his childhood. It was inevitable that 6-year-old Fleet would start playing and singing in his family's bluegrass band.

As he grew as a singer/songwriter, Fleet moved to Chattanooga before heading to Nashville, something many musicians do to test their chops. After an early publishing deal fell through, he continued working as a manual laborer and electrician to support himself and his wife while writing songs.

His big break came in 2017 when Jake Owen, a successful singer/songwriter in his own right, saw Fleet performing at a friend's barn wedding.

Fleet told Holler magazine that Owen approached him to ask him who he had a record deal with. Taken aback, Fleet explained he wasn't signed and was doing concrete work for money. The two struck up a deal: Larry Fleet would come on the road as Jake Owen's opening act, and if it didn't work out, well, no hard feelings.

The rest of the story reads like a fairy tale.

Fleet placed second on the country music TV show "Real Country," by which time he had a handful of independent singles under his belt, including "Wasted Time," "Working Man" and "Die Young."

His debut single, "Where I Find God," which he wrote with Nashville-based songwriter Connie Harrington, emerged from his "Gospel Song Sunday" series that he developed for his social media and garnered him a solid following.

His easygoing, humble demeanor is also partly responsible for his relatability and devoted fans. He writes from the heart, using his own experiences with his faith, family and music as the inspiration for his writing.

But it isn't just relatability that keeps people coming back for more. Fleet is skilled at writing thoughtful lyrics, establishing the right hooks and mixing his soulful vibe with the familiar country twang.

Stack of Records, his 2021 album, proves he can match wits with the finest writers and musicians in town. Fleet, who co-wrote all of the tracks on the album, exposes his soul, thoughts, and feelings to the degree that only the most talented can accomplish.

A baritone voice and a hopeful country twang make Larry Fleet one of the country musicians you'll be glad you saw live. Get tickets to see Larry Fleet live on tour today at Ticketmaster.

  • Music that's good for your soul!

    by Debbie G on 3/4/25Knitting Factory - Boise - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely amazing! The opening act was a great way to kick off the evening. Larry Fleet was beyond my expectations. I saw him open for Morgan Wallen and liked him; but tonight I loved him. He is Chris Stapleton and Luke Combs combined, but with his own special twist. He has a huge heart and it shows in his music. When he sang "Where I found God"and the crowd all sang along, it was a teary eyed, goose bump moment.

  • A Show Worth Seein’

by Laura on 3/3/25The Depot - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been a fan of Larry Fleet for a while and went to Parker McCollum’s “Burn it Down” show last year just because LF was opening for him (Parker was good too though, haha) SO you can imagine my excitement when I learned that he was headlining in my city! The Hard Work and Holy Water tour did not disappoint! Everette, LF, and the band all performed really well. Great music and good people always make for a wonderful night! My only regret is that the show wasn’t longer, I would’ve loved to hear every song live! 😆

  • I thought he was flat

by I’m a fan on 8/20/24The Avalon Theatre At Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort - Niagara FallsRating: 3 out of 5

I thought the sound was flat and Larry was a little pitchy. I’m no expert but compared to the recorded songs- I noticed a big difference. I listen to Larry everyday. Great personality, great showmanship but I was really disappointed with the sound. Maybe it was the acoustics in the building?

  • ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

  • Larry was Good; Disappointed Opener Changed

by Ken S on 7/2/24Tannahill's Tavern and Music Hall - Fort WorthRating: 3 out of 5

Larry Fleet was good but my wife and I went to see Austin Williams and after the reschedule it was never communicated by TicketMaster that the opener was changed from Austin Williams to Cam Allen (who was also good) which was disappointing since we really went to see Austin Williams.

  • AWESOME!!!!!!

by Marhan on 4/8/24Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome event. Was so excited to see both acts. I prefer smaller venues. Do not like the massive stadium events. I want ti hear the act not 60 thousand drunk people singing

  • Really felt the music - great music, show, and venue

by Felixbpd on 4/7/24Citizens House of Blues Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Feels like we got to catch one of the few remaining shows of Larry's before he blows up and plays stadiums. Had been waiting for him to come to Boston - grateful it was at HoB. I feel most alive with live music, especially at venues like this.

  • Larry Fleet

Larry sounds amazing live. He puts on a great show and his band is entertaining as hell. We can’t wait for him to come back to the Boston area.

  • Great time!

by Tim A on 4/7/24Citizens House of Blues Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Standing room only, great location for the show. The hot us right in on time, maybe even a few minutes early because it was cold and rainy. Friendly staff and awesome venue. This was only my 2nd show at the House Of Blues and both times have been really great. Ticket price was very, very reasonable!
