Jimmy Dore is the star of several Comedy Central specials, a writer performer for the Off-Broadway hit "The Marijuana -Logues," and the host of his own weekly radio show on KPFK Los Angeles. His latest effort, "Citizen Jimmy," which was taped right here at The Fillmore Auditorium, is the award winning one-hour Comedy Central Special that was chosen "Best Of 2008" by iTunes, and was named one the "Top 5 Comedy DVD's of the year" by Punchline Magazine. He also co-hosts the immensely popular podcast "Comedy and Everything Else" alongside Todd Glass and Stef Zamorano. It is Jimmy's every-man style and razor-sharp material  that draws people in and has made him one of fastest rising stars in comedy today. He was also on NBC's "Friday Night!" where he became a fan favorite and a show regular, and that experience started a string of late night talk show performances including ABC's Jimmy Kimmel, NBC's Late Friday, and CBS's Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

    I didn’t expect the JDS team would stop here in Montreal. I’m happy they did. I spent a lovely time. All the comedians (3, including Jimmy Dore) made relevant points and hit the nail(s) on the head. That was my very first time I went to see stand up comedians.

    Jimmy Dore has a way to bring the REAL NEWS with a touch of humor to keep us sane. I love Jimmy and his crew and the way they tell the truth. They bring all sides of the political spectrum together. I will continue to see him when he is our area.

    Drove 462 miles round trip to see the show. I was NOT disappointed!!! If I had to list one complaint it would be that the Audio system was a a little loud but tolerable to me but did give my date a headache. More a complaint to the venue NOT the Jimmy Dore Show. Keep speaking truth to power and educating the masses Jim jam. Your message is important and is being heard!

    JD is the man. Someday in the future , I would love it if they would have a panel type show in this area. I'm always down to see him and his crew. Cerebral and funny... what more can you ask for?

    Great show. But ticket master system is not great. I had to download an application to get the ticket. Why do I have to download an app to get my ticket? I don't want to download apps to enter an event.

    In addition to finally meeting Jimmy Dore (show was amazing), I have to say the entire staff at the Wilbur deserves a round of applause. My wife was recovering from knee surgery and walking with a cane. She was offered a chair while waiting in line for the meet and greet and everyone was so nice to everybody there

    Such a great show at the Wilbur this weekend with Jimmy Dore (and his very funny opening act Steph). The whole audience gave him a standing ovation as he was coming onto stage for the first time, and of course, at the conclusion of his time on stage. That shows you people appreciate honesty with humor. I wish he would book more upcoming dates in New England. He’s a classic comedian and outstanding nightly news commentator. Could listen to him for three more hours because the laughs kept coming…what a star in the field of comedy during a time not many have the courage to perform with truth and humor. He will make you laugh. Come back to New England, Jimmy!
