  • Jimmy Carr - you’re a lucky guy

Non stop!!! A solid 90 min+ set. Very unique structure - no opener - and a great mix of crowd interaction throughout. He’s extremely quick witted as well. Exceeded my expectations.

very tight show, no lulls. first live comedy show, so i assumed there might be things worth editing out, but no, everything was very tight. only negative was that there were those same played out heckles from decades ago, the recommendation would be to use jim as a springboard to heckle something else, or just a joke, unrelated to jim. those went over very well with the audience that night. couldn't find any of the jokes offensive since 100% of them were supported by their logic-puzzles, which i guess is something to note: if you're more into the humorous anecdote kinda comedy, you might find this show a bit more mentally taxing than you expected. if you want to have more "an evening with jimmy carr"kinda thing, then the book is more what you're looking for. i enjoyed the audiobook version. there was a distinct feel that the show was more about us than about him. respectfully didn't ignore anyone who wanted to do a shout-out. i guess the only other thing i can add is, this isn't like how some comedians do tours with their classics hits, this is more legit.

Great comedian! Laughed the entire time! However, our seats were terrible! We were on the fringe in the balcony and couldn’t see the very opening nor the closing bit! Still heard enough to laugh, but….. Next time I will buy tickets earlier, and get them with views of the stage! Still glad we went!!!!

  • Great Fun

I loved the audience participation portion, I don't know any other comic who does that. It was so cool to see Jimmy Carr in person, I will be back next year if he is!

  • Laughably Great Show at a Laughably Horrible Venure

by RainyDays on 6/1/25The Wiltern - Los AngelesRating: 2 out of 5

I paid up for floor seats because it’s a comedy show…it’s Jimmy Carr…and who doesn’t want to be close enough to the stage at a show known for its audience engagement. Little did I know that the venue would cram so many portable, armless seats onto the floor that it would be impossible for anyone of human body size to fit in their seat. People were playing musical chairs all night…trading seats, standing, sitting, leaning forward, leaning back. It was distracting and uncomfortable. I will NEVER see another show at the Wiltern.

It’s amazing just how much work Jimmy puts into his show. It’s even more amazing to see how much work they put into Jimmy.

  • Whole lotta laughs

by Dave on 5/28/25Paramount Theatre - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

I took a friend, for his birthday, to see Jimmy's show at The Paramount Theater in Denver. It was a flawless show. I'm a Jimmy fan but my friend wasn't familiar with his work; my friend then quoted jokes from J and the audience all the way home. It was an impressive 90 minutes of one-liners with two breaks for heckles, ending with amusing audience-submitted questions and jokes; no opener. Hadn't been to The Paramount before. Easy entry/exit. Beautiful interior with good sound. Efficient staff. Nearby parking structure.
