by Issy on 9/24/24Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 5 out of 5

I have to admit, I was not a huge ABBA fan, but my wife really wanted to see the concert. I agreed to go and am so glad I did! This group was amazing! Not only were the singers sensational but the whole group was so entertaining. I would not hesitate to see them again should they come back to Penn's Peak. Bravo!

  • The DSO added a lot to the show

by Ken on 8/1/24Meadow Brook Amphitheatre - Rochester HillsRating: 5 out of 5

The two ladies had great voices, great looks, and great costumes. The DSO was terrific and added so much to the sound. The song list was pretty much a greatest hits. Great drummer in the band as well. Really great show.

They sounded great, it was a beautiful nights, and everyone was having a good time.

  • Sound system was lacking

by edubs on 7/31/24Meadow Brook Amphitheatre - Rochester HillsRating: 4 out of 5

The DSO and ABBA musicians were fantastic. The DSO is world class. In terms of the Meadow Brook venue, the sound system was terrible. We sat on the hill and it was difficult to hear. You could not hear the performers when they were speaking between songs. While performing, it sounded like someone turned a radio on. Very disappointed with the quality of the sound system.

  • Fantastic !!!

by Cindy on 7/31/24Meadow Brook Amphitheatre - Rochester HillsRating: 5 out of 5

Meadowbrook was a great venue for Direct from Sweden: The Music of ABBA!

  • Abba at Meadowbrook Amphitheater

by Susan on 7/31/24Meadow Brook Amphitheatre - Rochester HillsRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was great! A beautiful night and music!! Meadowbrook needs to do a much better job of getting people in on time. The concert had been going for 30 minutes and people were still pouring in. We waited for more than 40 minutes, standing on very uneven ground to enter. We were meeting people who parked in handicapped, we couldn't find them, there was nothing marked, no signs to show where handicapped parking was. Really enjoyed the show but won't be anxious to return to Meadowbrook because of the long, slow lines. There was staff standing at the gate that were just standing there, not helping with the entry process.

  • Exceeded Expectations

by WascallyWabbit on 7/31/24Meadow Brook Amphitheatre - Rochester HillsRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen various tribute bands, and most are decent, but not great. Direct From Sweden ABBA exceeded all expectations, particularly the 2 lead singers. The whole band gave a lively performance, that appealed to all age groups. It was impressive that they drew a crowd that probably ranged from ages 5-90, and everyone seemed to really enjoy the show. Providing a little bit of history of the music was a nice touch. I'd go again if they came back to the area.
